          - much more than conventional dressage training

Every horse can do it too!

Every horse has a natural ceiling. The Highland Pony that I had the priviledge of competing in the late 80s had reached hers at Medium level, although she continued to upgrade to Advanced Medium.
That experience confirmed my on-going desire to prove that it was possible for the unconventional type to out-perform "more suitable" horses that were falling short of their much greater potential.
Of course, the physically talented horse has a higher ceiling, but I believe there is truth in the suggestion that any horse can perform correctly at Medium level - and I have never yet found it necessary to suggest to anyone that they need to look for a "proper horse"!
