Effective Riding

Picture
So how does the human sustain this new, improved relationship with his horse when mounted?

Suddenly the precise, reliable, communications  that improved the horse's responses from the ground are at risk of disruption if his movement disturbs the balance, stability and communications of his rider.

Of course the rider needs an understanding of how to develop the horse's gaits and self-carriage so that he works in a state of physical and mental harmony. That is discussed under "The Horse". However, the rider may also need to develop his own muscle tone, core strength and biomechanical stability at all paces, in order to actually deliver that training system effectively.
