          - much more than conventional dressage training

For many years I was frustrated by flatwork lessons that offered little prospect of development for myself or my horse; but meeting an Olympic trainer who showed me how to make the horse more comfortable in his work was life-changing.

Sadly, dressage is now noted for abuse with rollkur used in training and warm up by some top riders - potential role models - and with horses often rewarded in competition at all levels  even when behind the vertical  ,   the use of restrictive training methods will only increase.

There is a better way if we just listen to our horses. I am passionate that rider aspirations need not be achieved at the expense of the welfare and quality of life of their horse.

My Mission

To enable calmness, trust, understanding and partnership between horse and rider at all stages of development...

... through helping the rider to become their own trainer, working towards mental and physical harmony during every interaction with their horse.
